Double the Size, Double the Fun

How does one maintain the original core of an antique colonial house that dates back to 1779 while enhancing livability for today’s needs? Our solution was to double the living space in a 2,800 square foot addition to the back of the house while retaining the aesthetic of a quintessential New England farmhouse; we preserved the original four rooms of the house and added a kitchen, family room, bedrooms and bathrooms.

The project won a Gold Prism Award in 2016.
