Combining Condos Equals Chic Living

This interior renovation turned two 2-bedroom apartments into a floor-through home in an 1890’s Back Bay apartment building. The design intent was to blend historic features with contemporary elements; the original high ceilings and fireplaces were restored and crown and base moldings were added to tie the space back to the original building. For a modern feel, we added glass sliding doors, honed stone for the fireplaces, and sleek walnut built-ins for maximum storage.
